Even though Juneteenth happened on Thursday, dozens of people celebrated the holiday that marks the end of slavery on Sunday.

Several people gathered at Roger Williams Park to attend a Juneteenth festival.

It’s in honor of the holiday that marks the end of slavery in the United States,

The festival offered music, food, and a documentation of culture and history to visitors.

Senator Jack Reed (D-RI) was among those who attended the festival.
