Mark your calendars and bring the whole family to Benton Harbor’s 8th Annual Juneteenth Celebration returns Saturday, June 14, 2025, at City Center Park, hosted by the Benton Harbor Juneteenth Cultural Awareness Committee (BHJCAC).

In honor of the legacy of African American freedom, resilience, and cultural pride, this year’s theme aims to celebrate stories of the Benton Harbor community and legacy, with an exciting day of music, food, history, and togetherness.

There will be historical storytelling, music and entertainment, a wide-variety of vendors, family-oriented activities, and a parade.

Registration is now open for all participants! Emails have gone out to last year’s parade groups, and new participants are encouraged to sign up early by contacting bhjuneteenth@gmail.com.

Vendors and Booth
BHJCAC invites local businesses, artisans, food vendors, and community organizations to host a booth at the event. Whether you’re selling products, sharing services, or offering educational resources, this is a great opportunity to engage with the community.

Volunteer
BHJCAC is also calling for volunteers to sign-up to participate in the event, who are essential in making the day a success.

If you are interested in hosting a booth, becoming a sponsor, or joining the parade? Contact the Benton Harbor Juneteenth Cultural Awareness Committee for more details by emailing bhjuneteenth@gmail.com.
