SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) – A first-of-its-kind event is coming to Notre Dame’s campus this weekend.
“Boundless,” presented by UZIMA! Drum and Dance, is a celebration of Juneteenth that pays homage to the ancestors who paved the way to liberation. It’s best described as a history lesson through song and dance!
Kelly Burgét, artistic director and founder of UZIMA! Drum and Dance, and Michelle Jewell, director of communications, joined us on WNDU 16 News Now at Noon to tell us more about the concert. You can learn more by watching the video above!
The concert will take place on Saturday, June 22, at 7 p.m. at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center.
