
City of Columbia offices as well as several other services will be closed or affected June 19 in observance of Juneteenth.
Administrative offices for the Columbia Police and Fire departments will be closed but all other emergency services will be available.
Go COMO, Columbia’s public transit system, will not operate June 19. Additionally, all Go COMO fixed route and Paratransit services will begin at noon Saturday, June 21, due to the downtown Juneteenth parade. The gold and orange bus routes will also detour around celebrations at Douglass Park June 21.
The Activity and Recreation Center will operate at reduced hours, from 9 a.m. to 3p.m. and Rec swim will be available from noon to 2:30 p.m.
The Albert-Oakland Family Aquatic Center, Lake of the Woods Pool and the Douglass Family Aquatic Center will all be open from 1-5 p.m.
Columbia trash services will not be collecting on Juneteenth and will be delayed by a day for the rest of the week.
Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services will also be closed.
