
CORTLAND, N.Y. (WBNG) — The Cortland Sheriff’s Office will be hosting a Juneteenth celebration on June 14.
Officials said the family-friendly event is open to all and promises an afternoon full of culture, connection and celebration.
The event will have live music and performances, food vendors, art and culture displays and games and giveaways.
The Cortland Sheriff’s Office is hoping to bring together the community in honor of freedom and unity.
The event will be held at Courthouse Park, 33 Church St., from noon to 3 p.m. on June 14.
The event is presented by SUNY Cortland, Tompkins Cortland Community College, Cortland Tourism Bureau, WXHC-FM and the Institutional Equity & Inclusion Office.
