Diboll will kick off a Juneteenth celebration of freedom Saturday, June 21, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the old H.G. Temple Cafeteria.
The celebration has been going for years, but Demetrius Vinson said a new generation is working to spearhead preparations.
