
JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – Downtown Jonesboro will see road closures for the Juneteenth Jonesboro Parade.
The parade will start at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 15.
According to a post from the city, the parade will start at the E. Boone Watson Community Center on Logan Avenue.
Road closures include the following:
- Washington Avenue (from South Patrick Street to Main Street)
- Main Sreet (From Washington Avenue to Huntington Avenue)
- Huntington Avenue (from Main Street to Church Street)
- Church Street (From Huntington Avenue to Creathe Avenue)
- Creathe Avenue (From Church Street to S. Patrick Street)
- South Patrick Street (From Creathe Avenue to Logan Avenue)
The city said the streets will not be barricaded, but there will be rolling escorts with motor patrols barricading roads to through traffic until after the parade.
