ELLSWORTH — Shoulder to Shoulder was this year’s theme for Juneteenth Downeast, which celebrated its fourth anniversary at Knowlton Park on June 19.
The theme of this year’s festival aims to commemorate the resiliency of Black and Indigenous communities in Maine and the shared struggles they have faced and continue to endure today.
