
Gahanna’s first-ever Juneteenth Celebration is set to take place on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., at the Creekside Blues & Jazz Festival! This landmark event will uplift the legacy of Juneteenth while showcasing the vibrancy of Black culture through music, dance, spoken word, and community connection.
Event Details:
● Date: Saturday, June 14, 2025
● Time: Gates open at 11:00 a.m.; Program from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
● Location: Blues Stage near the Gahanna Sanctuary, Creekside District
● Admission: The first 200 attendees will receive free admission to the Creekside Blues
& Jazz Festival.
Program Highlights:
- Musical performances by Harmony, Gahanna Lincoln High School student ensemble,
and Gifted Hands Drumline - Spoken Word by acclaimed poet Cynthia Amoah
- Dance Performances from Thiossane Institute and Gahanna Lincoln High School
Lionettes - And with a special appearance from Zayne Harshaw of Blue Spectrum
