
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – This summer, the Equal Justice Initiative is bringing renowned music artists to the River Region to celebrate Juneteenth.
June 18, gospel music legends and Grammy Award winning artists Yolanda Adams and Donald Lawrence and Company will perform an evening concert at the Montgomery Performing Arts Center. Tickets are available here.
June 19, EJI will waive admission fees to the Legacy Sites. The Legacy Museum, the National Memorial for Peace and Justice, and the Freedom Monument Sculpture Park will be free to the public all day.
Jason Max Ferdinand and his choir will give a free musical performance midday at the Peace and Justice Memorial Center.
The center will also host performances by Grammy Award winning artists Cécile McLorin Salvant and Terence Blanchard in the evening. Get your tickets here.
