A host of Detroit talent will headline the Hart of Detroit Summer Fest, organizers have announced.

Detroit rappers Veeze, Icewear Vezzo, Peezy, Babyface Ray, Tay B and more are set to perform at Hart Plaza June 19 in celebration of Juneteenth, event organizers have announced.

The concert is part of the Hart of Detroit Summer Fest, which will also include a free block party earlier in the day. Tickets for the concert, which kicks off at 6 p.m., start at $32 and are on sale now through Eventbrite.

The concert is hosted in partnership with AfroFuture, the Afrobeats festival coming to Bedrock’s Douglass Site August 16-17.

“We are thrilled to bring Hart of Detroit Summer Fest to Hart Plaza and to collaborate with AfroFuture for an unforgettable Juneteenth celebration,” Hart of Detroit Summer Fest co-founder Chanel Domonique said in a release. “This event is a testament to Detroit’s vibrant energy, creativity, and deep-rooted cultural pride.”

The event’s adjoining block party will be held from noon to 5 p.m. and tickets, which are free, can also be obtained through Eventbrite.
