AMESBURY — Looking to further embrace the nation’s most recent federal holiday, community members have organized the city’s inaugural Juneteenth celebration set for later next month.
“For this first year, our hope is to create a celebration that thoughtfully honors the significance of Juneteenth,” Juneteenth Planning Committee Chair Woon Chul Fisher said.
