Costco is a go-to for party essentials and groceries, especially in the lead up to federal holidays.

Members can also find deals on outdoor furniture and grills to prepare for backyard events and BBQ cookouts.

However, it’s not always clear if Costco will be open during the upcoming holiday, Juneteenth.

The federal holiday falls on Thursday, June 19, while the New Jersey state holiday falls on Friday, June 20 this year so either day could cause some uncertainty for shoppers.

Here’s everything you need to know about store hours at Costco on Juneteenth.

Is Costco open on Juneteenth 2025?

Costco members will be able to shop at warehouses on Thursday and Friday because they will be open nationwide, similar to last year.

Shoppers can visit most stores from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the two days, but hours may vary.

It’s best to check with your local warehouse to confirm store hours on Juneteenth.

Costco does not tend to close on Juneteenth in honor of the holiday.

However, it does close on the following holidays:

  • New Year’s Day
  • Easter Sunday
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day
