African culture will be highlighted at a Juneteenth Celebration at the Police Academy in College Point.

The event, which celebrates Black liberation, will be on Wednesday, June 18, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The festivities include music, food and guest speakers at 130-30 28 Ave.

The New York City Police Foundation, the NYPD Guardians Association, the NYPD Community Affairs Bureau and the Detectives Endowment Association are sponsors of the event.
