The Laboring Aid and Cooperative Union will host its First Annual Juneteenth Festival on Saturday, June 21, at the historic Old Tanners Bridge Community School, bringing together families, food, music and history in celebration of emancipation and heritage.
The festival, located at 617 Tanners Bridge Circle, will honor both the national significance of Juneteenth—the federal holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the United States—and the legacy of the Tanners Bridge community, where the event will take place.
