LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The month of June is now here, and that means it is almost time for Juneteenth celebrations!
As part of the celebrations in Arkansas, the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center will present the 16th annual Juneteenth in Da Rock festival in the heart of the historic West 9th Street.
The event will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. in downtown Little Rock.
The family-friendly festival is a celebration of culture, freedom, and community, and it will feature live music, food, local vendors, and activities for all ages, including a kids’ zone.
The festivities will kick off promptly at 7:00 a.m., with a Juneteenth in Da Rock 5K Walk/Run, where participants can see many of the city’s African American historical sights, such as the Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site, Arkansas Baptist College, and Philander Smith University.
Throughout the day, guests in attendance can enjoy performances from various musical artists, such as Grammy-nominated Elle Varner and Grammy Award winner October London.
Guests can also shop around and participate in the many activities that highlight the rich history and significance of Juneteenth.
