The three-part concert series will take place on June 12, 19 and 26, with shows starting at 6:00 p.m.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The LeMoyne-Owen College National Alumni Association has announced its inaugural Juneteenth “Concert on the Lawn” Series.

The concert series is a celebration of the music, community and culture for the LeMoyne-Owen community.

The three-part series will be held on Thursdays, June 12, 19 and 26 at 6 p.m. on the lawn of Brownlee Hall on the LeMoyne-Owen College Campus.

Proceeds from the concert will go towards benefiting the LeMoyne-Owen College National Annual Fund.

Attendees can expect performances by a diverse lineup of Memphis local talent, including DJ Sketches, Devin Crutcher, Jerome Chism, Katrina Anderson, Briana Brown, Andre Parson, and Larry Springfield. 

Guests can enjoy live music, food trucks, and community fellowship under the stars.

 “This concert series not only honors the spirit of Juneteenth but also raises essential funds to support our students and sustain the mission of LeMoyne-Owen College,” said Fundraising Committee Chair of the Alumni Association Kristen Herring-Hurd. “We are excited to welcome alumni, friends, and community members to our beautiful campus for this inspiring summer experience.” 

Tickets are available for $30 per night or $75 for the full three-night package. Lawn chairs are encouraged for the event.
