GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WMBF) – On Friday, officials said the location for the Georgetown Juneteenth Festival has been changed.
The event will now take place at the Georgetown Library Main Branch at 405 Cleland Street.
Organizers said the change allows for increased accessibility, enhanced resources, and broader public engagement.
The announcement also said all vendor spots are now free for the Black Business Expo as a way to continue supporting and uplifting local Black-owned businesses and entrepreneurs.
Event planners say no further action is needed for those who have registered or expressed interest in being a vendor and they will reach out shortly.
