
ADRIAN, Mich. (WTVG) – The NAACP of Lenawee County will be hosting a Juneteenth celebration in downtown Adrian on June 14 from 1 to 8 p.m. The celebration will be held on Maumee Street between Main and Broad.
The celebration will feature R&B Funk Music performed by a Toledo-based cover band, Distant Cousinz. There will also be activities for kids, including a bounce house, games and giveaways.
There will also be a cornhole tournament and a three-on-three basketball tournament. The cornhole tournament will start at 3 p.m. and is expected to end by 6 p.m. The basketball tournament will begin at 9 a.m. and is open to people between nine and 18 years old.
