SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Juneteenth Commission has officially launched this year’s holiday festivities by hosting its annual prayer breakfast.
This marks the third year of the event, which took place at the Witte Museum on Broadway.
The commission stated that the breakfast is a way to support, uplift, and empower the San Antonio community.
This year’s Juneteenth Festival is scheduled for next Saturday at Comanche Park #2 on the East Side.
