The Syracuse Mets are celebrating the Black community and its rich history in baseball on Wednesday, June 19. Also known as Juneteenth, the national holiday serves to commemorate the end of slavery in the United States.

The Syracuse Mets are working alongside the Juneteenth Festival Committee to raise awareness about the holiday.

It will also be Dollar Thursday at NBT Bank Stadium. Fans can enjoy $1 fountain drinks and souvenirs, $2 hotdogs and coneys, & $3 alcoholic beverages all game long.
