3rd annual Juneteenth celebration to be held in Elizabethtown

ELIZABETHTOWN, N.C. (WECT) – Organizers have released the schedule for the Juneteenth Celebration happening next month in Elizabethtown.

The events will take place from June 18-22.

June 18: Mt. Olive Community Juneteenth Celebration meet & greet vendor setup
June 19: Mt. Olive Community Juneteenth Celebration fireworks extravaganza
June 20: Mt. Olive Community Juneteenth Celebration Farmers’ Day & Catch A Pig
June 21: Mt. Olive Community Juneteenth Celebration Parade and evening Hideaway Festivities
- Line-up will begin at 9 a.m. at 805 W Broad St. The parade will begin at 11 a.m., with participants heading down W King Street.
- There will be colorful floats, marching bands, and more.
June 22: Mt. Olive Community Juneteenth Celebration The Cornhole Championship
