BLOOMINGTON – The Juneteenth celebrations continued at Miller Park in Bloomington on Saturday.

Dozens of local groups set up tables offering resources and education. Guests enjoyed live music and food.

Event coordinator Tony Jones said the hot temperatures won’t stop the festivities.

“It’s a coming together and just an appreciation for whatever you feel that is worthy, an opportunity for individuals to learn about the event, to celebrate the event, and just to enjoy their day. It’s hot and sunny, but it’s worth it,” said Jones.
