Juneteenth returns this year on Thursday, June 19, in most states and on Friday, June 20, in New Jersey.

Because it is a federal and state holiday, it’s not always clear if certain facilities and stores, like gas stations, will be open those days

However, despite it being a holiday, most gas stations in N.J. will remain open, including those connected to major store chains, like Costco, 7-Eleven and Wawa.

Independent gas stations, on the other hand, may close on the Juneteenth holiday.

Ultimately, it’s best to check with your local gas station to confirm operating hours because they may be reduced due to the holiday so hours may vary.

Here are all the gas stations that will be open on this Thursday and Friday.
