Assembly to consider Juneteenth as a paid borough holiday

The Fairbanks North Star Borough Assembly will consider this week whether to make Juneteenth an official paid holiday for borough staff.

An ordinance co-sponsored by Assemblymembers Scott Crass, Kristan Kelly and Liz Reeves-Ramos would effectively add a 12th paid holiday to the borough schedule.
