
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – In Honor of Juneteenth, on Sunday there was a celebration at the Symphony Park.
Hundreds attended the concert, dancing and enjoying a variety of musical selections played by the Charlotte Symphony.
Song selections highlighted parts of the African American musical heritage with selections also by Scott Joplin, Louis Armstrong, and Stevie Wonder.
The Symphony will host more Summer Pops every Sunday until June 30th.
