CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Juneteenth on King is expected to be a lively family event featuring an evening of dance starting on Wednesday.

Officials say the Juneteenth event will be free and feature outdoor dining, live music, and artisan and craft vendors for attendees to enjoy.

The City of Charleston partnered with the MOJA Arts Festival to organize the event and celebrate MOJA’s 40th anniversary season.

Officials say attendees can expect performances from The Legacy Motown Band and Deninufay African Drum and Dance.
