SALISBURY, Md. – Community members got in on the Juneteenth celebrations.
The annual Juneteenth festival took place in Downtown Salisbury, featuring various vendors, helpful resources and fun games.
Attendee, Tony Miller, said he’s proud to see his community come together for such an important day, and he hopes to see the older generation continue the conversations with the younger generation, on what Juneteenth is all about.
“To see all the people out here, everybody enjoying themself, the kids and all the celebrations and the colors and everything’s a wonderful time,” Miller said.
