BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – This week, Bryan ISD summer school students celebrated Juneteenth in class.
They had lessons and activities about the national holiday and its historical importance.
There were bingo games, coloring pages, friendship bracelets and a freedom quilt.
Just a reminder, there will be a Juneteenth celebration Saturday in Bryan from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
