OAKLAND — Multiple people were shot Wednesday night at a Juneteenth celebration by Lake Merritt in Oakland, according to the city’s fire department.
At least four people have been shot and more injured, said spokesperson Michael Hunt, who added that the number of people shot or injured could have grown since he was last updated, he said at 10:24 p.m.
Oakland police and firefighters were responding at Grand and Euclid avenues.
