Juneteenth celebration set for Saturday in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Lincoln Parks and Recreation is hosting a free Juneteenth celebration on Saturday for the community to enjoy.

The free event is happening at the F Street Community Center from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

There will be a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, big wheel derby, classic car show, free food, face painting, DJ and street dance, raffle prizes, and more.

Prizes and giveaways are donated by Spreetail, We Can Do This, Hy-Vee, Pepsi-Cola, Partnership for a Healthy Lincoln, UnbeWingable, Norland Pure Water, Hiland Dairy and others.
