MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – Juneteenth festivities continue over in the Little Apple tonight.

Regina Belle and Chris Walker will perform this evening at 7 pm at City Park in Manhattan. Belle said people can expect some old classics such as “A Whole New World” from the Aladdin movie to more recent songs such as Freedom. She wants the community to come out big.

”I’ve never been to Manhattan, Kansas so this is amazing I’m so looking forward to this celebrating Juneteenth and what it means for my ancestors being able to have an opportunity to come together with I call it family that I don’t know but we’re all kind of 6th person related so I’m looking forward to being here today, it’s going to be amazing,” said Belle, singer/songwriter.

Belle said the one thing she is really looking forward to while in Manhattan is the food.
