WILLMAR

— With Juneteenth (June 19) falling on a Wednesday this year, the federal holiday means no mail delivery that day.

Subscribers to the West Central Tribune will receive their paper a day later. However, readers are encouraged to visit wctrib.com and view the e-edition, which will post online early Wednesday morning.

The e-edition is a replica of the print edition plus additional digital-only pages featuring national and world news and national sports coverage.

To access the e-edition, click on the yellow “Read Today’s Paper” button in the upper left corner of the West Central Tribune homepage (

).

Individual news stories are available 24/7 on wctrib.com, as is video and photo coverage. Digital stories will not be affected by the federal holiday.

Our newsroom occasionally reports stories under a byline of “West Central Tribune staff report.” Often, the “West Central Tribune staff report” byline is used when rewriting basic news briefs that originate from official sources, such as a city press release about a road closure, and which require little or no reporting. At times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
