To the editor:
I just reviewed the Burnsville council session from Sept. 10 and last week’s report in this paper on the Neighborhood Pilot Program. I am very disappointed in the decision to take away community events open to all residents and also open to visitors to our city for the benefit of a privileged few who will throw private parties, plant flowers and trees, and install benches that many of us will never see or use.
