Longmont Juneteenth Family Celebration: 1-6 p.m. Saturday, Roosevelt Park, 700 Longs Peak Ave., Longmont. The community is gathering to celebrate diversity and to share, educate and appreciate one another. The family-friendly event will be alcohol-free, tobacco-free and cannabis-free. Check out the main entertainer, R&B singer Chrisette Michele, who won a Grammy Award in 2009 for her song “Be OK.” The event also includes music, fashion, vendor and information booths, activities for kids, drum line performances from local high schools and food. Pride in the Parks — Birding Hike: 8 a.m. Saturday, Walden Ponds Wildlife Habitat, 3893 N. 75th St., Boulder. This hike is for anyone who likes looking at birds or being outdoors. Saturday will welcome those who identify as LGBTQ+, allies, families — or anyone who wants to enjoy an inclusive outdoor experience. This will be a slow hike covering 1.5-miles or less.
