Patchy dense fog with the visibility less than one quarter mile will
continue over the Lower Columbia Basin,the Kittitas and Yakima
Valleys, the eastern Columbia River Gorge, and the Blue Mountain
Foothills through the morning hours. Temperatures are near to
below freezing, and icy spots will be observed due to freezing
fog. Avoid cruise control and allow plenty of space between
vehicles.

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations less
than one inch and ice accumulations around a light glaze.

* WHERE...Lower Columbia Basin of Oregon and Washington, Foothills
of the Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon, Yakima Valley, and
Foothills of the Blue Mountains of Washington.

* WHEN...From 2 AM to noon PST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
