This year in Newnan there will be a slate of Juneteenth events including the inaugural Juneteenth parade organized by the Coweta County NAACP Youth Council.
Dillon Terrell, president of the Coweta NAACP Youth Council, said the council wanted to bring the parade to the city to highlight a part of the city’s history.
