CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A market celebrating Juneteenth was held in Chesterfield County on Saturday with vendors, art and food trucks for all to enjoy.

The Chesterfield Juneteenth Celebration Pop Up Night Vendor Market was held on Saturday, June 29 at the Perkinson Center for the Arts and Education.

Bernadette Spencer, a volunteer with the Chesterfield County Diversity Office, said the event showcased a variety of Black businesses within the community in celebration of Juneteenth.

“It gives us an opportunity to experience different vendors and their wares,” Spencer said. “There’s some beautiful artwork here, some delicious foods, all crafted by local artisans.”
