(WTNH) – Looking for activities for Father’s Day Weekend? We have eight ideas for you!

On Saturday, the New Britain Museum of American Art is hosting its annual Juneteenth Celebration with free admission and special performances.

Take in the spectacular beauty at Elizabeth Park’s Rose Weekend with painters, garden tours, exercise workshops, poetry events and more.

All weekend, experience Unicorn World at the Connecticut Convention Center with a magical forest and animatronic unicorns, along with arts and crafts.

On Saturday, take the family to the Steel and Wheels Car Show at Danbury Railway Museum, benefitting Operation Toy Train.  See cool, unusual vehicles.

On Saturday, head to Lyman Orchards to enjoy the annual Strawberry Fest, full of activities like pie-eating contests and pony rides.

New Haven’s International Festival of Arts and Ideas is underway this weekend featuring many events including a free concert Saturday on the Green.

On Saturday, check out Kare Fest featuring music, food, and drink, along with a silent auction. The event honors the legacy of a Guilford businessman.

Sunday, enjoy Trades Day at the Henry Whitfield State Museum, a free STEAM-based learning experience involving tools and woodworking.
