Hattiesburg celebrates Juneteenth

HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WDAM) – Across the Pine Belt, folks are celebrating Juneteenth this weekend.

Saturday morning saw the annual Juneteenth Celebration in the City of Hattiesburg.

The Ray-E. Foundation, Inc., hosted a parade that started around 9 a.m. Saturday near Edwards Street and ended at Vernon Dahmer Park.

The celebration at the park featured live music, food, arts and crafts and a kid’s zone.
