Cultural fun and excitement filled the Greenville Town Common over the weekend during the city’s first Juneteenth Jamboree, a collaborative effort that organizers said was a huge success.

Committee member Ronita Jones of the West Greenville Health Council said that was a labor of love working with city government, the Greenville Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Pitt County Arts Council and other organizations that helped.
