The Juneteenth Festival Group, Inc. of Daytona Beach presented its parade and family festival on Saturday, June 15. Hundreds participated in the Juneteenth events that kicked off with the parade in the morning from the Julia T. & Charles W. Cherry Sr. Cultural & Educational Center at 925 George W. Engram Blvd. This was the second year of the parade.

The all-day festival at Cypress Park followed the parade. The festival included events for adults and children.

The city of Daytona Beach was the main sponsor of the parade and festival as well as the June 18 Juneteenth Hometown Heroes Banquet.
