MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – The City of Madison announced on their Facebook page Thursday that there will be no recycling, trash or brush collections on June 19 due to the Juneteenth holiday.

Officials say the Streets Division drop-off sites will also be closed.

Madison residents who have collection days on Wednesdays should place their carts out for pickup by 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 20. Residents who have their trash and recycling collection on Thursday should also leave their carts as well.

Officials say if anyone needs to check to see if the holiday will affect their collection to check the city’s website.
