Monroe County held a Patriot Day ceremony in front of the Monroe County Courthouse Wednesday morning, commemorating those lost in the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.

The ceremony was held in front of the courthouse and was led by Monroe County Veteran Services Officer Andy Boyd, who stated that they were there to remember and honor the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks in 2001.
