The Vallejo Juneteenth Committee is hosting a “Pancakes for a Purpose” fundraiser on Saturday, April 26 from 8 to 10 a.m. at Applebee’s Grill & Bar located at 1041 Admiral Callaghan Lane.
“This is a great opportunity for the African American Family Reunion Committee to be more visible in the community and to build relationships with the local business community,” said Don Jordan, AAFRC president. “We’re excited to partner with Applebee’s Grill & Bar to help raise funds the Juneteenth Festival and Parade as well as our scholarship program.”
The breakfast includes a full meal with pancakes, eggs, sausage, juice and coffee. Applebee’s will prepare the food and committee members will serve guests.
