Northcott Neighborhood House, Milwaukee World Festival partner to bring Juneteenth programming to Summerfest
Summerfest 2025 will open June 19, 2025.Festival organizers announced the dates Wednesday for next year’s Big Gig.Summerfest will again run Thursday through Saturday for three weekends. The dates are June 19-21, June 26-28 and July 3-5, 2025. Milwaukee World Festival Inc., the producer of Summerfest, announced a new partnership with the Northcott Neighborhood House, the host of Milwaukee’s Juneteenth celebration.The partnership will bring Juneteenth programming to Summerfest on the evening of June 19, 2025. “We are honored to collaborate with Northcott Neighborhood House, a leader in Milwaukee for decades, to celebrate the spirit of community, history, and culture of Juneteenth,” said Sarah Pancheri, president and CEO of Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. “We look forward to providing new Juneteenth programming to our patrons.”Summerfest reported 555,925 fans this year, in spite of rain impacting six of the nine festival days (2024 saw the most rain since Summerfest 2000).
